Thundelarra has exploration projects in Western Australia (WA) and the Northern Territory (NT) in four discrete regional packages.
Since 2012 efforts have been directed towards rationalising what was an extensive portfolio of exploration properties Australia-wide.
The result is the four current project areas, with specific commodity focus on copper (±gold) and uranium. Our projects also have potential for other base metals (notably zinc) and for the specialist commodity graphite.
Doolgunna in WA hosts the Red Bore and Curara Well projects situated within several kilometres of Sandfire Resources NL’s operating DeGrussa copper-gold mine. Our target at these projects is also copper-gold.
Pine Creek in NT hosts the Allamber and Copperfield projects. Copper is the primary commodity target at both projects, but Allamber also hosts known uranium mineralisation, as well as zinc, lead, silver and graphite occurrences.
The East Kimberley in WA hosts the Sophie Downs (zinc and copper), Frank Hill (copper) and Keller Creek (nickel) project interests.
The Ngalia Basin in NT is a greenfields uranium prospect with demonstrated potential to host in situ leach uranium mineralisation.
Thundelarra raised approximately $7.1 million after costs in July 2014 through an oversubscribed placement at $0.19c per share. These funds mean the Company is well placed to explore each project’s targets.
